  • Publication number: 20030003601
Abstract: A biochemical analysis unit is obtained, which comprises a base plate having spot-shaped regions and has identification information, specific binding substances having been fixed respectively to the spot-shaped regions. A labeled organism-originating substance having identification information is subjected to specific binding to the specific binding substances. A label signal corresponding to a position of the spot-shaped region having thus been labeled selectively is read out to form data for a biochemical analysis. The identification information of the biochemical analysis unit and the identification information of the organism-originating substance are acquired and fed into an analysis apparatus, such that the correspondence relationship between the two pieces of the identification information is clear.

  • Publication number: 20020045267
Abstract: A protein dyeing and detecting method includes steps of fixing a protein electrophoresed on a gel on the gel using a fixing solution, dyeing the fixed protein with fluorescent dye for dyeing a protein which has a property of mainly acting on sodium dodecyl sulfide (SDS)-protein complex to dye a protein, irradiating the dyed protein with a stimulating ray and detecting fluorescent light emitted from the protein upon being irradiated to produce a fluorescent image of a protein, the fluorescent dye for dyeing a protein being most effectively stimulated with a stimulating ray having a wavelength between 440 nm to 500 nm or a wavelength between 510 nm to 580 nm and emitting fluorescent light whose peak wavelength ranges from 560 nm to 620 nm or from 600 nm to 660 nm. According to the thus constituted protein dyeing and detecting method, it is possible to produce a fluorescent image of a protein having high sharpness and low background noise.

  • Patent number: 5672514
Abstract: A chemiluminescent detecting method includes the steps of uniformly irradiating with radiation a stimulable phosphor sheet formed with a stimulable phosphor layer containing a stimulable phosphor which can store an energy of radiation and be stimulated by visible light to emit the energy of radiation in a form of light, thereby storing energy of radiation uniformly therein, selectively labeling a biopolymer with a labeling substance which can produce chemiluminescent light by contact of itself and a chemiluminescent substance, causing the biopolymer labeled with the labeling substance and the chemiluminescent substance to come into contact with each other, and exposing the stimulable phosphor sheet to chemiluminescent light produced by the contact of the biopolymer labeled with the labeling substance and the chemiluminescent substance.
