  • Patent number: 11936826
Abstract: An image inspector includes a recording device and circuitry. The reading device is configured to read an image on a recording medium. The circuitry is configured to determine whether the recording medium has a wrinkle and an edge folding based on a plurality of positions on the image on the recording medium read by the reading device satisfying a predetermined relation. The circuitry is configured to determine whether the recording medium has the wrinkle based on the predetermined relation, and then determine whether the recording medium has the edge folding based on the predetermined relation.

  • Patent number: 6595150
Abstract: A pair of tension discs is disposed on a tension stud fixed in part of a sewing machine main body. A pneumatic cylinder has a drive rod. The drive rod moves at least one of the tension discs to other tension disc so that one tension disc is pressed to other tension disc. An air regulator is interposed between the pneumatic cylinder and an air supply source, being composed in an electropneumatic system for converting between voltage and air pressure. By controlling the applied voltage to the electropneumatic air regulator on the basis of an instruction from a microcomputer, the set pressure of the air supplied to the pneumatic cylinder is adjusted. Thereby the pressure to the thread held between the pair of tension discs, that is, the thread tension is controlled. As a result, without having to stop the operation of the sewing machine, the thread tension can be adjusted promptly and appropriately.

  • Patent number: 5391905
Abstract: A logic circuit comprising an active-pull-down circuit in which electrodes of an active capacitor are formed of a conductive layer in common with one of contact electrodes of neighboring transistors is disclosed. The area for the capacitor is reduced, so that the element-occupied area is minimum even when the absorbing capability of the active-pull-down circuit is designed to be high for reducing a transient duration of an output signal. Besides, capacitor insulation film is used as a mask during a process, so that the process for fabrication of the integrated circuit is simplified.

  • Patent number: 4935710
Abstract: A high frequency filter for an electric instrument including a casing of metallic conductive material, an internal electric circuit element arranged within the casing, and a connector mounted on a peripheral wall of the casing for connecting the internal electric circuit element to an external electric circuit. The high frequency filter comprises an insulation substance layer arranged between the connector and a connection terminal of the circuit element, the insulation substance layer being made of a dielectric material whose dielectric constant decreases or increases in accordance with increase or decrease of wireless frequency applied thereto, and a pair of conductive layers formed on opposite surfaces of the insulation substance layer, one of the conductive layers being connected at one end thereof to the connector and at the other end thereof to the connection terminal of the circuit element, and the other conductive layer being connected to a portion of the casing.
