  • Patent number: 6716331
Abstract: An electrolytic method is disclosed by which occlusion of hydrogen or sticking of atoms or molecules in plating and so forth is not disturbed by electronic magnetic force produced by main electric current and ion current flowing from the positive electrode to the negative electrode through electrolyte. An electric circuit separate from a positive electrode and a negative electrode is provided between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and electric current of a direction opposite to that of main electric current and ion current flowing in the electrolyte from the positive electrode to the negative electrode is supplied to the electric circuit to produce an opposite magnetic field which cancels a magnetic field produced by the main electric current and the ion current flowing in the electrolyte.

  • Patent number: 5863495
Abstract: The invention provides a hydrogen nucleus storage method and a hydrogen nucleus storage unit wherein occlusion of hydrogen nuclei and transition into a storage condition after the occlusion can be performed simply and the utilization efficiency of a material which causes cold nuclear fusion to occur is high. A hydrogen occlusion member coated in advance with an insulation layer capable of preventing penetration of hydrogen nuclei therethrough is inserted, only at a portion thereof which is not coated with the insulation layer, into a reactor vessel so that hydrogen nuclei are occluded into the hydrogen occlusion member, and then the portion of the hydrogen occlusion member is removed from the reactor vessel. Thereafter, also the portion which is not coated with the insulation layer is coated with an insulation layer, and the hydrogen occlusion member is accommodated into and kept in a protective case in accordance with the necessity.

  • Patent number: 5591156
Abstract: A semiconductor medical treatment instrument in close contact with a part of the human body at which a pain is caused. A plurality of sets of diodes in each of which two diodes the same in kind as each other are arranged in parallel relation to each other such that a direction extending from an anode to a cathode of one of the diodes is opposite a direction extending from an anode to a cathode of the other diode are arranged such that the directions connecting respectively the anodes and the cathodes to each other extend perpendicularly to each other.

  • Patent number: 4568870
Abstract: A phase control device for regulating illumination of a fluorescent lamp means is disclosed, which includes a thyristor, an ignition circuit therefor and a delay circuit for providing a time delay of a predetermined period after a power switch of a driving circuit of the fluorescent lamp means is closed so that the ignition circuit is actuated to make the thyristor operative to thereby regulate the illumination thereof only after the fluorescent lamp means warms up sufficiently before the phase control therefor is introduced.

  • Patent number: 4488092
Abstract: An illumination mode selecting device for an illumination lamp having more than one individual illumination element is arranged so as to enable an operator to remotely control the number of illumination elements to be lit without special wiring between the remote control and the illumination lamp. A mode selector consists of a switch in parallel with an impedance. The mode selector is placed in series with an A.C. line connected between an A.C. power source and the illumination lamp. The speed of operation of the switch of the mode selector determines the mode of operation of the illumination lamp, that is the number of separate illumination elements which are to be lit.

  • Patent number: 3999079
Abstract: The fire detector in which only an increasing component of the voltage produced by a transducer is applied to a timing-circuit and a voltage detected by said transducer is converted in waveform into sawtooth wave form which increases in accordance with the increasing component of said voltage by short-circuiting a capacitor comprising said timing circuit in a predetermined time interval and then the converted voltage is applied to a constant voltage circuit.
