  • Patent number: 4867713
Abstract: The disclosure relates to an electrical connector employed to make and break an electric motor main circuit between the control unit side and the side of the box-shaped frame of a control center. The electrical connector includes a male contact, a female contact having a pair of contact strips engaged with and disengaged from the male contact and a end section to which a connecting conductor is connected. A pair of conductive strips of the connecting conductor extends at the outside of the contact strips of the female contact in an opposite relation to the same. The conductive strips of the connecting conductor are coupled by a regulating rod which prevents the outward movement of the conductive strips. The female contact and the connecting conductor are integrated and enclosed in a cavity of an insulating case for oscillation.

  • Patent number: 4835350
Abstract: A circuit breaker includes an operation knob rotatably mounted on a frame, an actuator rotatably mounted on the frame, the actuator being rotatably moved with the operation knob so as to operate a handle of the circuit breaker, an engagement member rotatably movable between first and second positions in response to the reciprocal movement of the actuator. The engagement member engages with an interlocking arm for the locking of the compartment door while it is being moved to the second position. The engagement member allows the interlocking arm to pass by when occupying the first position. An engagement portion is formed in the operation knob so as to engage with the engagement member when it occupies the second position. The location of the engagement portion corresponds to an OFF position of the operation knob where the circuit breaker is opened. Engagement of the engagement member with the engagement portion prevents the circuit breaker from being closed when the compartment door is opened.

  • Patent number: 4831489
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a control unit withdrawing mechanism for metal-clad switchgears in which control units each including power load controlling equipments are withdrawably enclosed in unit compartments respectively for movement between connection and test positions. The mechanism includes a locking lever for locking the control unit to the connection and test positions when turned, a positioning aperture formed in the bottom wall of the unit compartment, and an engagement strip moved within the positioning aperture when the control unit is moved within the unit compartment and limiting the movement of the control unit to the section between the connection and test positions. The engagement strip is rotatably mounted on a rotation shaft secured to the control unit so as to be moved together with the locking lever in a predetermined section so as to enter and withdraw from the positioning aperture.
