  • Patent number: 6839034
Abstract: A protective cushion is provided which works to absorb accidental physical impact acting on an antenna unit built in a portable unit such as a remote keyless entry transmitter for automotive vehicles. The protective cushion includes dampers each of which has a first and a second contact. The cushion is disposed within a casing in elastic abutment of the first contacts with the antenna unit and the second contacts with an inner surface of the casing, thereby absorbing physical impact transmitted to the antenna unit which is produced, for example, when the user drops the portable unit accidentally, thereby avoiding the detachment of the antenna unit from a circuit-fabricated substrate and/or breakage of the antenna unit itself.

  • Publication number: 20040237613
Abstract: A portable device is constructed with an emergency key and a device body having a receiving part. The emergency key has a lock mechanism constructed with a holding member and a button urged by the holding member to be protruded from the emergency key. The device body has a first holding hole engaging with the button when the emergency key is received in the receiving part. When the button is pushed, the emergency key can be pulled out of the receiving part. The emergency key is inserted into the receiving part, so that the button engages with the hole. The emergency key has the lock mechanism, so that the electronic key system is downsized.

  • Publication number: 20040090737
Abstract: A case of a portable equipment for communication to an external system comprises a body portion and an operation portion acting as a function member. At least a portion of the case is provided with a decorative film having a resin film having transparency and a print layer printed on a back surface of the resin film in a predetermined pattern, and a resin base member formed on a back surface of the decorative film so as to contact the print layer. The front surface of the decorative layer is exposed as a most outside surface of the case.

  • Publication number: 20040050125
Abstract: A key-coupler for coupling a key with a key-holder includes a first closed ring to which the key-holder is connected and a second closed ring to which the key is connected. The key-coupler is integrally made of a single spring wire and includes a pair of circular portions and a portion connecting the pair of circular portions. Both closed rings are formed by overlapping the pair of circular portions with each other. The key-coupler is easily opened by simply separating one circular portion from the other, and is closed by its own spring action upon removing a force separating the circular portions.

  • Publication number: 20020039079
Abstract: In a radio signal transmitter, a microcomputer operates by receiving an output voltage of a battery to sequentially generate a voltage boosting control signal. This voltage boosting control signal has a longer high level period as generated later. The voltage booster circuit boosts the output voltage of the battery by increasing the number of times of oscillating operations during the high level period of the voltage boosting control signal depending on the increased high level period.
