  • Patent number: 6897852
Abstract: There has been a problem with a film provided on a surface of an input section such as a touch panel etc., which is arranged on a display such as a conventional type of liquid crystal display or the like is swelled or corrugated owing to deterioration with the lapse of time, or change in temperature and humidity. According to the present invention, there is provided an information input display device. The device comprises a drawing action section which generates tension to draw outward directly or indirectly by elasticity in a film, when an input section capable of displaying in a transmittable manner, which is arranged on a surface of a display section, is attached to an housing. The device prevents swelling or corrugation of the film from occurring by the tension.

  • Publication number: 20040195783
Abstract: A waterproof structure that is provided on a device includes a waterproof member. A pipe with no flash of a parting line, which is formed by extrusion-molding an elastic material such as a rubber or a resin, is used as the waterproof member. The waterproof member is interposed at a coupling part between members that is to be waterproofed, such that terminal-end faces of the pipe are disposed to be opposed to each other with their center (axes) being aligned (coaxial). When pressure is applied by engagement between the to-be-waterproofed members, the terminal-end faces of the pipe are put in close contact with each other. Alternatively, terminal-end portions of the pipe are juxtaposed with their centers being made parallel, and when pressure is applied, side faces of the terminal-end portions are put in close contact with each other. Thus, waterproofing is effected.
