  • Patent number: 5567493
Abstract: A multi-hole tube extrusion die comprises a female mold die having a flat opening and a mandrel having comb-teeth-like molding portions arranged in the opening. A heated material is extruded between the female mold die opening and the comb-teeth-like molding portions of the mandrel to form a tube having a multi-plicity of holes. An interval between each of the comb-teeth-like molding portions at the opposite ends of the mandrel and the comb-teeth-like molding portion adjacent to the outermost comb-teeth-like molding portion is set to be smaller than an intervals between the female mold die opening and each of the outermost comb-teeth-like molding portions and to be larger than an interval between adjacent ones of the other comb-teeth-like molding portions. Additionally, the outermost comb-teeth-like molding portions are larger in width than the other comb-teeth-like molding portions.

  • Patent number: 5116521
Abstract: An aqueous lubrication treatment liquid for a cold plastic working of a metallic material comprises 50 to 400 g/l of a solid lubricant, for example, MoS.sub.2, 1 to 40 g/l of a surfactant, 10 ppm to 5000 ppm, in terms of colloidal titanium compound, water, and optionally, 5 to 150 g/l of a binder and 4 to 160 g/l of a metallic soap. This liquid exhibits a strong bonding to the metallic material and an excellent lubricating property, and prevents rusting of the metallic material.

  • Patent number: 4900459
Abstract: Disclosed are a metal processing lubricating oil composition and a process for producing the same. A metal processing lubricating oil composition according to this invention comprises mineral oil, synthetic oil or a mixture thereof, and phosphoric ester and orthophosphoric acid mixed and heated in the mineral oil, synthetic oil or mixture thereof. The lubricating oil composition gets rid of the tiresome pre-treatment associated with the conventional lubricating method, and exhibits a high seizure prevention performance in cold plastic working only by coating it on workpieces. The lubricating oil composition may further comprise metallic phosphate to suppress corrosivity against ferrous materials.

  • Patent number: 4847968
Abstract: During the forging step two metallic flows are generated in the metallic blank, one is an elongating flow toward the flange portion and another is an elongating flow toward the cylindrical portion. These metallic flow are generated simultaneously.Since the metallic blank elongates toward the cylindrical portion and the flange portion at the same time, the metallic structure of the product formed by the present forging method does not develop a slide surface, so that no weak portion is generated in the product.
