    Abstract: A float for a fishing line consisting of an elongate member having a first end and a second end, at least two floatation members coupled to the elongate member, and an engagement portion coupled to the first end of the elongate member and dimensioned to engage with a stop means provided on the fishing line. The float is positionable between a disengaged position and an engaged position, wherein the elongate member is positioned generally vertically in the engaged position, and wherein in the elongate member is positioned generally horizontally in the disengaged position.
