  • Patent number: 9619732
Abstract: Implementations generally relate to generating compositional media content. In some implementations, a method includes receiving a plurality of photos from a user, and determining one or more composition types from the photos. The method also includes generating compositions from the selected photos based on the one or more determined composition types. The method also includes providing the one or more generated compositions to the user.

  • Publication number: 20150140616
Abstract: Processes are described for producing furfural from a mixture of pentoses and hexoses, by dehydrating and cyclizing pentoses to provide furfural using a water-soluble acid at elevated temperatures in the presence of a low-boiling, water-immiscible organic solvent, such as toluene, which is effective for extracting the furfural into an organic phase portion. In certain embodiments, a fermentation step occurs prior to the dehydration step to convert hexoses in the mixed pentoses and hexoses to ethanol while conserving pentoses therein for making furfural.

  • Patent number: 7380959
Abstract: A device for illuminating fluorescent art includes a UV light source, a white light source, a UV sub-housing and a white light sub-housing. The UV light source is contained in the UV sub housing and the white light source is contained in the white light sub-housing so that the white light source is separated from the UV light source. This configuration prevents interference between the UV light source and the white light source within the device.

  • Publication number: 20050118301
Abstract: A method for increasing the soluble fiber content of fermented foods by adding pyrodextrin, especially a pyrodextrin in which the linkages have been highly randomized, to the foodstuff before the fermentation step. The enzymes involved in fermentation partially degrade the added pyrodextrin, reducing it to sugar and soluble fiber.
