Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for expression of disassociation with online content, including a user interface module to provide a user interface between a network user with administrative authority and an Internet service and a communication module to receive disassociation parameters for a disassociation policy for the Internet service. The disassociation parameters may include a name associated with an Internet content and a message corresponding to the Internet content. The name may be indicated as a website category or an affiliated website. The system may further include a confirmation module to confirm the disassociation policy with the network user with administrative authority, a policy generating module to establish, based on the disassociation parameters, the disassociation policy for the network, and a policy enforcement module to apply the disassociation policy to a user request to access the Internet content.

Abstract: Systems and methods for an Internet service delivered to a particular location are provided herein. Exemplary methods for mediating an Internet service include executing instructions stored in a memory by a processor to selectively apply, on-demand, a mediation policy to the Internet service, the mediation policy adapted to prevent the delivery of Internet content for a predetermined period of time. The method may include establishing a user interface between a computing system and Internet service, the user interface receiving a request to apply the mediation policy to the Internet service via the user interface to prevent the delivery of Internet content for a predetermined period of time.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a temporary mechanism for selective blocking of Internet content are described. A distraction list may be received from an Internet service via a user interface between an end user and the Internet service, wherein the distraction list includes one or more blocked Internet content identifiers associated with blocked Internet content. A focus-time interval defined by a starting time and a length of duration or an ending time is also received. If Internet content designated to be blocked is requested by the end user during the focus-time interval, the end user may be redirected to a block page. Monitoring may automatically cease after the focus-time interval, without requiring the end user to manually disable the selective blocking of Internet content.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention include methods and systems for managing Internet access. An exemplary method for managing Internet access includes three steps. First a request is received to access the Internet. Second, a determination is made whether the request is being made during a restricted time period. Third, Internet access is selectively managed Internet access for an end user via a computing device, by blocking Internet access if the determination is that the request was made during a restricted time period or granting Internet access if the determination is that the request was made outside the restricted time period.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing reminders in a user-created task list are described. At least a portion of a user-created task list is received from an Internet service via a user interface between an end user and the Internet service. The user-created task list includes one or more tasks organized into one or more categories. An intermediary display is generated, wherein the intermediary display includes a first subset of the one or more tasks, and the generated intermediary display is transmitted via the user interface to the end user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for transmitting messages to a user of a network are provided. A message and a selection of a triggering event may be received by an Internet service, via a user interface between a first end user and the Internet service. A notification including the message may be generated. The notification may be transmitted via both the user interface and the network between the Internet service and a second end user in response to an occurrence of the triggering event. In accordance with various embodiments, the triggering event may include accessing of the Internet by the second end user via the network, or the accessing of a particular website.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing notifications are provided. Information regarding Internet content is received. A determination by an Internet service or a DNS server is made as to whether the Internet content has been accessed by a second end user. A notification is generated and transmitted when the Internet content has been accessed.
