  • Patent number: 10238195
Abstract: A luggage apparatus is described. The luggage apparatus comprises a body portion and a stabilizing mechanism, the stabilizing mechanism being movable with respect to the body portion from a stowed position to a deployed position. With the stabilizing mechanism in the deployed position, the body portion can be tilted from an upright position to an inclined position, in the inclined position the stabilizing mechanism at least partially supporting the body portion.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: March 26, 2019
    Inventors: Tamar Clarke, Tom Clarke
  • Patent number: 10212999
Abstract: A luggage apparatus is described. The luggage apparatus comprises an apparatus body having a moveable portion and a fixed portion, the moveable portion being movable with respect to the fixed portion between a deployed position and a stowed position. In the deployed position, a moveable portion surface and a fixed portion surface are arranged to define a seat for a child and in the stowed position, the moveable and fixed portion surfaces are substantially contained within the luggage apparatus body.

  • Patent number: 8052746
Abstract: The present invention relates to a balloon expandable stent mounted on a balloon catheter, the entire assembly being overcoated with a coherent polymer coating, which is preferably substantially continuous over the circumference and, more preferably, axial length of the stem on the balloon. The polymer coating improves retention of the stent on the balloon during delivery and does not adversely effect the deployment characteristics, nor the balloon failure characteristics. The product is made by mounting the stent on the balloon and coating the assembly with a liquid coating composition containing a suitable polymer followed by curing of the coating. The polymer is biocompatible and preferably crosslinkable in the coating composition, and crosslinked in the final product. A suitable polymer is formed from monomers including a zwitterionic, preferably a phosphoryl choline, group, and monomers including a trialkoxysilyl group.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 23, 2007
Date of Patent: November 8, 2011
    Assignee: Biocompatibles Limited

  • Patent number: 5649874
Abstract: A transparent sphere comprised of a hardened polymeric resin has an insert provided therein. The sphere is prepared such that there is no air gap between the polymeric resin and the insert. The insert is sized to provide an apparent size of the insert which appears to be substantially the same as the diameter of the sphere and to maintain the structural integrity of the sphere under normal conditions of use of the sphere.
