Abstract: A smoking article for use with an apparatus for heating smokable material to volatilize at least one component of the smokable material, the article includes a body of smokable material and a filter assembly. The filter assembly includes a cooling segment of between 20 mm and 30 mm in length for cooling at least one volatilized component of the smokable material, a filter segment adjacent to the cooling segment for filtering at least one volatilized component of the smokable material and a mouth end segment adjacent to the filter segment for being received in a mouth of a user. The cooling segment is located between the body of smokable material and the filter segment.

Abstract: A cable vent connector configured for venting an electric motor is provided. The cable vent connector includes an input for receiving a motor-side cable that includes a vent tube and a plurality of electrical conductors; a body configured for venting the vent tube to a local atmosphere, thus permitting an interior of the electric motor to reach pressure equilibrium; and a port for connecting the plurality of electrical conductors with a drive-side cable configured to drive the electric motor. A venting system and a production system are disclosed.

Abstract: A brake assembly includes a caliper, a brake pad, an actuator to force the brake pad into engagement with a rotor and an adjuster mechanism to compensate for wear of the brake pad. The adjuster mechanism includes a rotating component that rotates substantially in proportion to wear of the brake pad and is manually operable to deadjust the adjuster mechanism when replacement of the brake pad is required. The rotating component is operably coupled to a pad wear indicator mounted on the caliper which visually indicates an amount of brake pad wear.
