  • Publication number: 20230051802
Abstract: Provided are a scrubber brush assembly and a vacuum cleaner having same. The scrubber brush assembly includes a roller brush body and a scraping sleeve. The roller brush body is rotatable around a first rotation center line and has a bristle (12) provided thereon. The scraping sleeve is rotatable around a second rotation center line noncoincident with the first rotation center line and sleeved over the roller brush body. The scraping sleeve has a scraping sleeve hole defined thereon. The bristle is adapted to be extended out of or retracted into the scraping sleeve hole in a wall thickness direction of the scraping sleeve.

  • Patent number: 9808061
Abstract: The invention relates to a hair styling appliance (100, 100?, 100?) comprising at least one heater (103, 104) having a plurality of heating zones (Z1-Z5). The heating zones are independently operable arranged along the length of the heater. The sequential arrangement of the independently operable heating zones helps to improve the thermal control of the hair styling appliance. The hair styling appliance may be a hair straightener, curling tong, curling wand or a crimping iron.

  • Patent number: 8949011
Abstract: A system for maneuvering an aircraft for operations in connection with a sea-going vessel, the vessel having a designated area for landings and sling-load operations. Each of the aircraft has a navigation unit (INU) comprising a GPS receiver and an inertial navigation unit. The INU's are updated by data from the GPS receivers and the data from the shipboard unit's GPS receiver and INU are transmitted to the aircraft. The aircraft performs RTK calculations to determine a vector to the shipboard GPS antennas and modifies the vector with data from the INU's.

  • Patent number: 6918281
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of calibrating sensors within a gas detector (36) having a housing containing a gas inlet whereby gas can diffuse from the inlet to the sensors. The gas inlet in the housing is held against part (34) of the calibration apparatus to form a sealed gas interface between the apparatus and the detector; a source (10) of pressurized calibration gas is connected to the apparatus, and a predetermined dose of calibration gas is delivered to the interface between the detector (36) and the calibration apparatus (34) at a predetermined pressure. The source (10) of pressurized calibration gas may contain single or multiple calibration doses and, if the former, the calibration apparatus includes a dosing system such as cylinder (14) for metering individual doses of calibration gas.
