Abstract: A pipetting device (1) for receiving and dispensing fluid volumes, comprising a housing (2) with a holding portion (3), which is constructed for holding the pipetting device (1) by means of an operator's hand, a support device (4), which is designed for supporting the pipetting device (1) on an operator's finger, the support device (4) being rotatable relative to the holding portion (3), preferably about a longitudinal axis (L) of the pipetting device (1). The invention further relates to a pipetting device (1) for receiving and dispensing fluid volumes, comprising a releasable positive connection between a first and a second component of the pipetting device (1). Because the support device is adjustable relative to the holding device into a plurality of different defined rotational positions the pipetting device can be used by either left-handed and right-handed operators or by operators with hands of different sizes.

Abstract: A pipetting device for aspirating and dispensing fluid volumes, having a displacer with a displacer mechanism and a displacer housing, a rotatable setting device which can be manually operated by a user for adjusting a pipetting volume of the pipetting device, a stop, the position of which is adjustable and determines a stroke of the displacer mechanism, the pipetting volume being defined by the stroke of the displacer mechanism, and a coupling device coupled to the setting device for coupling the setting device to the stop. The pipetting device has a protective mechanism for limiting torque transmission from the setting device to the coupling device, in such a way that the setting device and the coupling device move together, and above the threshold value the torque and/or force transmission is reduced or interrupted.

Abstract: A pipetting device for taking up and dispensing volumes of fluid, which has an ejector mechanism which is actuable by means of an actuating means to eject or release a pipette tip plugged onto the pipetting device. The pipetting device has a coupling mechanism which is configured such that, in the unactuated state, actuating means and ejector mechanism are decoupled, and, when the actuating means is actuated, the latter is coupled to the ejector mechanism, causing a force exerted on the actuating means to transfer to the ejector mechanism. Also, the pipetting device can have a positioning mechanism which, when a pipette tip is not plugged on and the actuating means is unactuated, holds an ejector means, of the ejector mechanism in a basic position which is located between an ejection position and a plug-on position with a pipette tip plugged on.
