  • Patent number: 10689170
Abstract: A tank and closure cap apparatus is disclosed. The tank has an upper end or top with a manhole like larger diameter opening that can be closed with a lid having a smaller diameter opening equipped with an outlet fitting. • Patent number: 9834333
Abstract: A cargo rack for transferring loads between a marine vessel and an offshore marine platform (for example, oil and gas well drilling or production platform) provides a frame having a base, a front, a rear, upper and lower end portions and side walls. The lower end of the frame has a floor. Openings in the base align with forklift tine tubes or sockets. The frame includes a pair of fixed side walls extending upwardly from the base that include at least left and right side walls. A plurality of gates are movably mounted on the frame including a gate at least at the front and at least at the rear of the frame, each gate being movable between open and closed positions. The gates enable a forklift to place loads on the floor by accessing either the front of the frame or the rear of the frame. Each gate can be pivotally attached to a corner column.

  • Patent number: 9738415
Abstract: A cargo rack for transferring loads between a marine vessel and an offshore marine platform (for example, oil and gas well drilling or production platform) provides a frame having a front, a rear, and upper and lower end portions. The lower end of the frame has a perimeter beam base, a raised floor and a pair of open-ended parallel fork tine tubes or sockets that communicate with the perimeter beam at the front and rear of the frame, preferably being structurally connected (e.g., welded) thereto. Openings in the perimeter beam base align with the forklift tine tubes or sockets. The frame includes a plurality of fixed side walls extending upwardly from the perimeter beam that include at least left and right side walls.

  • Publication number: 20170234089
Abstract: A method of transmitting a fluid into an oil well bore provides a frame supporting a vessel, the vessel having an interior, upper and lower end portions, a conically shaped side wall, and an outlet for discharging the fluid from the vessel. A viscous polymeric material is added to the vessel interior. A discharge pipe having a vertical section is placed below the vessel, the discharge pipe being in communication with the outlet. A positive displacement pump is contained within the discharge pipe. The pump transmits fluid from the outlet into the discharge pipe downstream of the vertical pipe section or pump. The fluid is selectively transmitted to either the vessel interior (for recirculating) or into the well. Air is added to the discharge flow line downstream of the pump.

  • Publication number: 20160340078
Abstract: A cargo rack includes a frame having a front, a rear, and upper and lower end portions. The lower end portion of the frame has a base with a floor providing a load holding position. A tank, vessel or tank module that is supported with the frame during use, the lower end portion of the tank, vessel or tank module resting upon the load holding position of the base. The frame includes a plurality of side walls or side panels or side trusses that attach to and extend upwardly from the base frame. Each side wall, side panel or side truss has a pair of corner columns. The frame can include at least one horizontally extending beam connecting between each pair of corner columns. Each side wall, side panel or side truss can include the pair of columns, a central plate, and a plurality of diagonal members, each diagonal member connected to a corner column and a central plate. The diagonal members include an upper pair that can form an obtuse angle and a lower pair that can form an acute angle.
