  • Patent number: 9669269
Abstract: A game ball feeder for delivering balls to a game ball throwing machine. The game ball feeder includes a base, a support frame attached to the base, a drive mechanism attached to the support frame, and a support rod attached to the support frame. A rotatable ball housing operatively engages the support rod, is mounted in a substantially horizontal configuration, and includes a plurality of cylindrical shaped ball holding sections. Each ball holding section can include a wall defining an entry opening and an exit opening with the entry opening positioned vertically higher than the exit opening. A transfer path can be operatively attached to a support frame and aligned to accept a ball from one of the exit openings. Further, a ball indexing element can be shaped and positioned to control the movement of the balls within at least one of the ball holding sections.

  • Publication number: 20160353814
Abstract: A protective sleeve, designed to protect the user's arm, while working in the garden and/or automotive projects, comprises a sleeve portion that extends from the wrist to the bicep. The sleeve is made up of a stretchable mesh or woven material of cotton, which keeps the sleeve in place and does not require any elastic strings.

  • Patent number: 8150004
Abstract: A filter circuit is constructed as a triplex filter having a high-pass filter, a low-pass filter with attenuation in the passband, and a second low-pass filter without attenuation in the passband. The filter circuit has a frequency response with a high-pass portion, a flat loss portion, and a low-pass portion. Attenuation in the flat loss portion is uniform and is predetermined via selection of filter components. The filter circuit is useful in a bidirectional CATV system in which performance is improved by selectable attenuation of a first source of return path signals but without attenuation of a second source of return path signals.

  • Patent number: 5759025
Abstract: A heat generator apparatus includes a fuel container and a quantity of fuel absorbing material contained in the fuel container. A quantity of liquid fuel is contained in the fuel container and is absorbed by the fuel absorbing material. A fuel-impervious layer is placed on top of the fuel absorbing material, and a lid is provided for the fuel container. The fuel absorbing material is a roll of toilet paper which has had its core removed. The fuel-impervious layer is a layer of aluminum foil. A circumferential band can be placed around a circumference of the roll of toilet paper for preventing the roll of toilet paper from expanding radially. A fuel-impervious bag can be used to contain the fuel absorbing material and the fuel-impervious layer, which are all contained within the fuel container. An igniter container can be attached to a top portion of the lid. A plurality of matches are contained within the igniter container.

  • Patent number: 4724383
Abstract: A PC board test fixture translates various stimulation signals produced from a base grid of an automatic test system to randomly positioned test points of a printed circuit board to be tested. The test fixture includes a translator board having conductive pads aligned with probes of the base grid. Conductive pads on the top surface of the translator board are aligned with spring-loaded probes carried by a probe support fixture and aligned with the random test points of the printed circuit board. Conductive feedthroughs connect selected conductive pads on the bottom of the translator board to the randomly located pads on top of the translator board. A computer-executed algorithm compares the locations of the pads on the top and bottom of the translator board to determine the locations of the feedthroughs.
