  • Publication number: 20240109031
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system for processing ultramafic material. The system may comprise a reactor for accelerating weathering of said ultramafic material. The reactor may comprise one or more chambers comprising one or more microbes, biological medicators, or enzymatic accelerants to facilitate the weathering of the ultramafic material.

  • Patent number: 7768695
Abstract: A parametric device having a non-linear material (4) for generating an idler wave and a signal wave (16) in response to a pump wave (14), the pump, idler and signal waves being non-collinear, the device having a cavity (10, 11) resonant at the pump wavelength and means for varying the angle between the propagation directions of the pump and idler waves.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 26, 2007
Date of Patent: August 3, 2010
Assignee: The University Court of the University of St. Andrews
Inventors: Malcolm H. Dunn, Cameron F. Rae, Tom J. Edwards, David J. M. Stothard, David Walsh
  • Patent number: 7626756
Abstract: A coating between a nonlinear crystal and a silicon prism coupler, prevents transmission of radiation scattered within the crystal by filtering out frequencies outside the silicon bandgap to avoid free carrier absorption, but transmits THz frequencies that correspond to the bandgap.

  • Patent number: 7134367
Abstract: A fastener feeding device may include a housing that is securable to a power tool, a glider assembly that is slidably coupled to the housing, a depth control nose slidably coupled to the glider assembly and the housing, and a locking member pivotally coupled to the glider. The locking member may include a mounting sleeve coupleable to a power tool for providing a quick release connection of the feeding device to the power tool. A depth stop may be coupled to the mounting sleeve and may be engageable with a depth stop adjusting ring to adjust a depth to which a fastener driven by the system is driven relative to a surface of a workpiece. A depth control locking member may be pivotally coupled to the glider assembly for adjusting the depth nose control nose with respect to the glider assembly. An extension may be connectable between the power tool and the feeding device.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: November 14, 2006
    Assignee: Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation
