  • Patent number: 11248877
Abstract: An optically detectable antiballistic plate, and a method of producing it are disclosed. The antiballistic plate includes a core of a ceramic plate, coated with a transparent fibre-reinforced surface composite layer of plastic matrix and reinforcement fibre. Cracks visible to the human eye in daylight will occur, in the event of damage to the ceramic plate.

  • Publication number: 20210146637
Abstract: A method for forming an antiballistic panel includes selecting a largest ceramic plate, i.e. one with a widest circumference, from a batch of ceramic plates; forming a number of transparent rear covers with the shape of said largest ceramic plate; forming a batch of antiballistic panels each based on a single ceramic plate, wherein each antiballistic panel is vacuum baked from the following: a fibre reinforced composite layer which at least covers a front face of the ceramic plate; a trauma reducing fibre reinforced composite layer on a rear face of the ceramic plate; a binder cloth on the trauma reducing composite layer's rear face; an expanding, gluing foam on said binder cloth; mounting a transparent back cover onto the gluing foam to cover an entire circumference of the vacuum baked antiballistic panels; compression of the antiballistic panel now including the rear cover; and hardening of the foam.

  • Publication number: 20180321017
Abstract: The invention is a protective amour gear comprising—a main hip belt (3) with right and left side junctions (2, 2) near said wearer's hip joints, for holding a right and left side, generally “V” or “U” shaped fork structural element (1, 1) by their lower, middle portion (1v, 1v), respectively,—each structural element (1, 1) having a fore vertical branch (1F, 1F) extending up along the wearer's frontal chest to an elevation near his right and left collar bone, respectively, with a separation of about one half of the wearer's chest width; and—each said fork structural element (1,1) further having a rear or back vertical branch (1B, 1B) extending up along the wearer's back to an elevation near his right and left shoulder wing, respectively, and having a separation of about one half of the wearer's back width,—fore attachment elements (6F, 6F) on said fore vertical branches (1F, 1F) for holding a frontal chest amour plate on or between said fore vertical branches (F, 1F), and—rear attachment elements (6R, 6R) on s
