  • Patent number: 11436642
Abstract: A method and system provide a data management system that provides data management services and products to users. The method and system provide a self-help service including an assistance documents database including a large number of assistance documents. The data management system includes a database of messaging content including a large number of messages that can be provided with assistance documents accessed by users. The data management system includes a predictive model that has been trained with a machine learning process to match messages from the messaging content database to assistance documents. When a user accesses an assistance document, the predictive model matches the assistance document to a message from the messaging content database in real time. The data management system provides personalized messaging content data including the matched message in real time with the assistance documents accessed by the user.

  • Publication number: 20210051151
Abstract: A method for automatically updating an access control with respect to a network is provided. The method includes obtaining, from within the network, employment status data for a first user, and comparing the employment status data with a most recent version of an employee record for the first user. When there is a change in the employment status to indicate that the employment of the first user has been terminated, an access of the first user to the network is automatically disabled. When the access of the first user is disabled, a notification message is generated and transmitted to one or more recipients.

  • Patent number: 8074308
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for supporting and/or stabilizing a patient can help to position a patient relative to a therapeutic laser beam, for example, inhibiting motion or deflection during a refractive procedure on the eyes, and the like. A stabilizing structural member can support a chair or other patient support near shoulders of the patient, and the member may remain stationary while the chair is driven in a horizontal plane by a linkage. Often, a nominal patient center of gravity is located between the support member and a portion of the patient support which is supported by the linkage to reduce cantilever effects. The member may be rigidly attached to a vertical motion stage which moves the chair at an angle, for example at an angle normal to the horizontal plane.

  • Patent number: 7451507
Abstract: Improved devices, systems, and methods support and/or restrain a head of a patient, optionally for use in refractive surgery. Both the height of the patient's head and the angle of the patient's neck along the medial-lateral plane of the patient can be established independently, and compression pillow systems can gently and atraumatically compress the patient's head between protruding foam sidewalls or the like to inhibit movement of the patient from the alignment position.
