  • Publication number: 20250232398
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for machine-learning a function that generates a 2D image of a 3D scene. The function includes a scene encoder and a generative image model. The scene encoder takes as input a layout of the 3D scene and a viewpoint and outputs a scene encoding tensor. The generative image model takes as input the scene encoding tensor outputted by the scene encoder and outputs the generated 2D image. The machine-learning method includes obtaining a dataset comprising 2D images and corresponding layouts and viewpoints of 3D scenes. The machine-learning method includes training the function based on the obtained dataset. Such a machine-learning method forms an improved solution for generating a 2D image of a 3D scene.

  • Publication number: 20250228624
Abstract: A navigated surgery system includes at least one processor that is operative to obtain a 2D medical image slice of anatomical structure of a patient. The operations further obtain a 3D graphical model of anatomical structure. The operations determine a pose of a virtual cross-sectional plane extending through the 3D graphical model of the anatomical structure that corresponds to the anatomical structure of the 2D medical image slice. The operations control the XR headset to display the 2D medical image slice of the anatomical structure of the patient, display the 3D graphical model of the anatomical structure, and display a graphical object oriented with the pose relative to the 3D graphical model of the anatomical structure.

  • Publication number: 20250230620
Abstract: An expanded multilayer integral geogrid includes a plurality of oriented strands interconnected by partially oriented junctions having an array of openings therein that is produced from a coextruded or laminated multilayer polymer starting sheet. The integral geogrid has a multilayer construction, with at least one inner layer thereof having a structure that is expanded relative to at least one other layer of the multiple layers. By virtue of the expanded inner layer structure, the expanded multilayer integral geogrid provides for increased layer compressibility under load, resulting in enhanced material properties that provide performance benefits to use of the expanded multilayer integral geogrid in soil geosynthetic reinforcement, and economic benefits compared to a like integral geogrid without an expanded inner layer structure.

  • Patent number: 12363605
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for a high priority route selection descriptor (RSD) selection timer. A protocol data unit (PDU) session may be established for an application associated with a user equipment (UE). If the PDU session is associated with a lower RSD priority than the highest RSD priority for the application, the UE may initiate an RSD selection timer. After expiration of the RSD selection timer, the UE may try to establish another PDU session for the application with the highest RSD priority for the application. If another PDU session with the highest RSD priority is accepted, the UE may release the initial PDU session with the lower RSD priority and establish a new PDU session with the highest RSD priority. Such implementations may increase data rates, quality of service, and reliability for the application, decrease latency of the application, or decrease power consumption of the UE.
