Abstract: A method of creating a pair of cabins comprising: a first cabin; a second cabin; wherein the first cabin and the second cabin are adjacent to each other and are defined by a plurality of outer walls defining a substantially rectangular area containing the first cabin and the second cabin; wherein the first outer wall meets the second outer wall at a ninety (90) degree angle, the second outer wall meets the third outer wall at a ninety (90) degree angle, the third outer wall meets the fourth outer wall at a ninety (90) degree angle, and the fourth outer wall meets the first outer wall at a (90) degree angle; the first cabin and second cabin also sharing a common wall separating the first cabin from the second cabin; and wherein the common wall is operatively connected to an outer wall at an angle other than ninety (90) degrees.

Abstract: A battery monitoring system is provided to monitor a battery stack having multiple cells connected in series. The monitoring system includes monitor modules to monitor respective subsets of the cells of the battery stack, each monitor module, in response to one or more control signals, measuring cell voltages of the respective subset of cells and providing at least one readout signal that represents the sampled cell voltages, the monitor modules being electrically connected in a stack such that each monitor module is referenced to the voltage of the respective subset of cells, and the control signals and the readout signal are connected through the monitor modules of the stack, and a system control unit to provide the control signals to the monitor modules and to receive the readout signals from the monitor modules.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a fibrous structure is particularly, though not exclusively, applicable to the manufacture of friction products such as preform discs. The method comprises mounting a former on a shaft. First feeds of fibrous material are spaced along the shaft and applied to the former in a direction tangential to the shaft as the shaft is rotated. A second feed is also applied to the former in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the shaft. The fibrous materials in the feeds overlie as the shaft rotates and the thickness of the material applied to the former increases to form the fibrous structure. Lengths of the first and/or second feeds are then inserted into the fibrous structure body in a radial direction with respect to the shaft as the shaft is rotated to interconnect the overlying layers and hold the structure together.

Abstract: A setup dialog for a web viewer dynamically changes to reflect parameters needed to generate a web address. The setup dialog can include a list box containing websites for which website templates are available for assisting the user in generating web addresses. The list box can also include an option to generate a custom web address without using a website template. An extensible grammar is provided for generating custom website templates.
