    Abstract: A stowable table is provided having a tabletop with a top surface that faces outward when stowed and upward when deployed. In one embodiment, the stowable table includes a tabletop, a support bracket and a back member. The tabletop has a top surface, a bottom surface and an end. The support bracket has an upper end and a lower end, wherein the upper end is pivotally connected to the bottom surface of the tabletop. The back member has a bottom end, a top end, a back side and a front side, where the front side extends between the bottom end and the top end, wherein the lower end of the support bracket is pivotally connected to the bottom end, and the end of the tabletop is positionably connected to the front side between a stowed position and a deployed position. The stowable table is selectively attachable to a wall or may use the wall as a member.

The tray is stowed in a substantially vertical position with the first surface facing a seated passenger. The stowed tray is held in position with a moveable switch engaged against the first surface. A device for stowing and deploying the tray is mounted on the second surface. A pair of legs is mounted to the device. Each leg has a first end attached to the device and a second end attached to the seat. Upon turning the switch clear of the first surface, the device slidably urges the first surface from its stowed position to a deployed, substantially horizontal position, with the first surface facing upwards.

    Abstract: An automatically retractable restraint assembly for vertically restraining a body by engagement with its side. The centerline restraint (10) includes a pair of normally upright positioned inside heads (20), each head having an outwardly extending toggle (76) for engaging the side of a cargo body (14). The inside heads are automatically retractable into the frame (24) upon engagement by the cargo body after the preceding engagement of either of a pair of release wings (30). The inside heads are also spring loaded outwardly along the longitudinal centerline of the centerline restraint to maintain contact between the toggle and the cargo body should it attempt to move out of engagement. A pair of normally upright positioned and automatically retractable outside heads (22) are included to engage a cargo body of lesser widthwise dimension.

    Abstract: A stop assembly allowing a body to pass over it in a forward direction but obstructing passage in the opposite backward direction. The rollout stop assembly (10) includes a frame (18) and a pair of stops (20) mounted therein. Each stop includes a camming surface (30) which causes the stop to rotate downwardly into the frame upon engagement by the forward moving body (16), thereby allowing passage. Each stop also includes an abutment surface (32) engagable with the passed body that prevents backward movement of the body.

    Abstract: A spring-loaded outboard side lock for restraining the movement of a cargo body. The outboard side lock (10) includes a base (20) secured to the outboard sides of a main cargo deck (12), the base having a guideway (38) in which a plunger (22) is slidably mounted. The plunger has formed in it a recess (44) and a pair of abutment walls (52) that extend generally perpendicular to the bottom of the plunger. An actuator (54) is disposed within the recess and is coupled to a lever (24) for reciprocal movement, and a pair of springs (50) extend between a pair of transverse spring abutting wings (64) of the actuator and the abutment walls of the plunger.
