Abstract: The present invention provides a slidable fishing device including: a tubular member having an inner wall and an outer wall; a discontinuous region longitudinally aligned along a side of the tubular member, the discontinuous region configured to allow passage of a line from the outer wall to the inner wall of the tubular member and retain the line therein; and a ring portion projecting to the tubular member, the ring portion configured to attach at least one tackle member, wherein the tubular member slidably retains the line along the inner wall.
