Abstract: A sheet product dispenser for dispensing a roll of sheet product mounted thereto includes a housing portion and a load inducement portion. The housing portion defines a space operative to receive the roll of sheet product for rotation about an axis to dispense the sheet product. The load inducement portion is operative to induce a frictional force between the roll of sheet product and the load inducement portion during rotation of the roll of sheet product. The load inducement portion includes a guide member, and a load member slidably engaged with the guide member and operative to contact and apply a load to an outer surface of the roll of sheet product.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for mounting an object within a vehicle are disclosed. One apparatus includes a base, a neck, and a pair of legs. The neck extends from the base, and has a length that is adjustable relative to the base. The legs extend from the base in substantially a same plane as the neck. Each leg has a holding portion configured to hold the object. The legs are rotatable relative to the base such that rotation of one leg causes rotation of the other leg. One method includes positioning the object adjacent a base of a mounting apparatus, adjusting a length of a neck of the apparatus to accommodate the object, and rotating a pair of legs of the apparatus such that holding portions on the legs hold the object, the pair of legs rotatable such that rotation of one leg causes rotation of the other leg.

Abstract: Systems and methods for mounting flat panel video displays are disclosed herein. Several aspects of the invention are directed to a mounting assembly for adjustably mounting a flat panel video display. The mounting assembly can be carried by a mounting device attached to a support medium (e.g., a wall or other support structure). The mounting assembly includes a first body portion and a second body portion. The mounting assembly also includes a first link and a second link spaced apart from the first link to operably couple the first body portion to the second body portion. The first and second links are positioned to cooperatively move relative to each other to pivotably move the first body portion relative to the second body portion. The mounting assembly also includes a slot in the first and/or second body portions and a locking mechanism received within the slot to releasably hold the first and second body portions in position relative to each other.
