  • Publication number: 20210406268
Abstract: A flexible annotation framework normalizes auxiliary information from diverse sources, ranks the information for an individual search result, and provides a lightweight or full display of the auxiliary information in an annotation for the search result. An annotation thus displays information not typically part of the details included in the search result. An example method comprises, for at least one item in a search result page, identifying at least one annotation of a first annotation type in an annotation data store that references the item, identifying at least one annotation for a second annotation type in an annotation data store that references the item, ranking the annotation of the first annotation type and the annotation of the second annotation type and providing the highest ranked annotation as part of a search result for the item in the search result page.

  • Patent number: 11083102
Abstract: Cable housing assemblies include frames and cable carriers slidably mounted to channels provided at edges of the frames. The cable carriers may house or support male or female connectors to the cables, which may be power or communications cables (e.g., Ethernet cables) that extend from the connectors within the cable carriers into the channels, and through voids within the frames to power sources or communications systems. The cable carriers are releasably inserted into channels at edges of the frames, and permitted to slide in either direction (e.g., up or down) to various positions within such channels, in order to make power or communications services available at such positions. When installed in association with a shelving unit, e.g., between a backerboard and shelves, the cable carriers may be used to provide power or communications services available to such shelves provided at any height within the shelving unit.

  • Patent number: 9395858
Abstract: There is provided an operating method of a capacitive finger navigation device including the steps of: calculating a touch coordinate according to a predetermined position coordinate and associated detected variation of each of a plurality of detecting cells when the associated detected variations of the detecting cells exceed a threshold; mapping the touch coordinate to a touch position associated with a touch surface; entering a relative motion mode when the touch position is in a first area; and entering an absolute coordinate mode when the touch position is in a second area.

  • Patent number: 9389742
Abstract: There is provided a capacitive touch device including a touch panel, a detection circuit and a processing unit. The touch panel includes a plurality of drive electrodes and a plurality of receiving electrodes configured to form a coupling electric field with an external touch panel, and the receiving electrodes are respectively configured to output a detection signal. The detection circuit is coupled to one of the receiving electrodes and configured to modulate the detection signal with two signals to generate two detection components. The processing unit is configured to obtain a phase value according to the two detection components to accordingly decode transmission data.

  • Patent number: 9170693
Abstract: There is provided a capacitive touch system including a gain control unit sequentially receiving a plurality of digital detected signals of a detection frame. The gain control unit includes a gain buffer and a control circuit. The gain buffer is configured to store a current gain sheet. The control circuit calculates a first gain sheet according to a setpoint and the digital detected signals of the detection frame, compares a current roughness of the current gain sheet with a first roughness of the first gain sheet and replaces the current gain sheet in the gain buffer by the first gain sheet when the first roughness is flatter than the current roughness.

  • Patent number: 7827641
Abstract: The present invention includes a telescoping ramp that includes two ramp members that fit one atop the other such that the two members may be extended out or collapsed together. The first, outer ramp member has channels on either side of a substantially planar surface. The channels of the outer ramp member are structured to capture the rails on either side of a second ramp member. An inverted J-shaped channel is formed along each of the longitudinally aligned sides of the first ramp member. One embodiment includes inverted J-shaped channels that are dimensionally larger near the side that engages the other ramp member. The second ramp member is sized to between the inverted J-shaped channels and includes protruding rail-like members formed along each of its longitudinally aligned sides. The protruding members are complementarily shaped to slide and fit within a corresponding inverted J-shaped channel of the first ramp member.

  • Publication number: 20090211845
Abstract: A two-piece locking folding stair is provided with a spring-like locking mechanism. The spring-like device, deployed one on of the two members, includes a protruding member which engages a notch on the other member when the stairs are in the full open, or locked position. When the stairs are opened, the device moves into a position which prevents the stairs from folding unintentionally. To unlock the assembly, the spring-like device is depressed thus releasing the protruding member from a corresponding notch, allowing the stairs to be folded to the closed position for stowing or transport.
