  • Patent number: 8803290
Abstract: The amount of signal propagation and moisture penetration and corresponding reliability problems due to moisture penetration degradation in an IC can be reduced by fabricating two seal rings with non-adjacent gaps. In one embodiment, the same effect can be achieved by fabricating a wide seal ring with a channel having offset ingress and egress portions. Either of these embodiments can also have grounded seal ring segments which further reduce signal propagation.

  • Publication number: 20130216521
Abstract: A dietary supplement system including three general components is provided. The first component is the fatty acid component and this includes sunflower seeds (containing omega 6 fatty acids), flax seed (containing omega 3 fatty acids) and powdered oils (containing omega 3 or omega 6 fatty acids and generally produced from sunflower oils). The weight ratio of omega 6 fatty acids to omega 3 fatty acids is 10:1 to 1:1, with 10:1 to 5:1 being preferred for normal animals and 2:1 to 1:1 being preferred for animals which have fatty acid responsive conditions. The second component is the GI component, which is used for facilitating animal gut health. This component includes prebiotics, probiotics and immunoglobulin (typically from albumin concentrate). The third component is the breed specific component and can include vitamins, minerals, additional fatty acids, antioxidants, amino acids, palatants, and nutraceutical additives.

  • Patent number: 5513413
Abstract: An improved splash guard designed to prevent wax, cleanser, debris and the like from being spattered from a floor cleaning apparatus, the guard consisting of an elongate strip of flexible, waterproof material with a length greater than a peripheral base of standard floor cleaning apparatus and a width greater than the height of the apparatus so that the strip is capable of encircling the apparatus to form an enclosed wall adapted to the general shape of the peripheral base, extending generally from the floor up to the height of the housing of the apparatus. A bottom, straight edge of the strip is designed for constant, sliding contact with the floor, and thus preferably includes a strip of low friction material which also retards debris adherence. The ends of the strip are secured together with a two-part fastener that secures the ends adjustably and removably.
