Abstract: Protective eyewear comprising a pair of eye pieces, each defining one of two opposing inner lateral surfaces spaced by a nose bridge. At least one of the inner lateral surfaces comprises a slot for slidably and releasably engaging a locating rib provided on said nose bridge. Said slot comprises a slot locking element and said nose bridge comprises a nose bridge locking element. In a use configuration with the locating rib of the nose bridge engaged within the slot, the slot locking element and the nose bridge locking element cooperate within said slot to releasably secure the locating rib within the slot.
