    Abstract: A skate wheel hub assembly incorporating confronting hub rims cooperating to form at their radial outer extremities a V-shaped tire seat. The tire seat supports an elastomeric tire having a rigid mounting ring projecting radially inwardly. The mounting ring is locked between the confronting rims to eliminate relative movement between the tire and the wheel hub. In one form, the bearing assemblies may be offset in staggered relation on alternating opposite sides of a longitudinal skate center line.
