Abstract: A convertible lawn mower of the zero turning radius type is disclosed for use in a riding mode and a walking mode. A control member attached to a control head is rotatable between a first position where the control head is proximate to a seat and a second position where the control head is disposed generally behind the lawn mower. Control levers attached to concentric rotatable upper tubes are rotationally coupled to concentric rotatable lower tubes by loop means, for control of variable speed reversible transmissions coupled to rear wheels.
