  • Publication number: 20240072621
Abstract: A method of making an electromagnetic coil for use in a high-temperature electromagnetic machine includes pre-coating magnet wire with a high-temperature insulation precursor to produce pre-coated magnet wire, winding, while applying in-situ a glass-ceramic slurry, the pre-coated magnet wire into a predetermined coil shape to produce a wet-wound green coil, and thermally processing the wet-wound green coil to produce a processed coil. In some instances, a second layer of a high-temperature insulation may be applied to the processed coil to produce a further insulated processed coil, and then thermally processing the further insulated processed coil to produce a further processed electromagnetic coil.

  • Publication number: 20220386560
Abstract: The invention relates to apparatus for dispensing feed and/or bedding material for animals. The apparatus includes a body mounted on a base and the body includes a hopper for the said material and a rotor assembly to dispense the material from the hopper, said body movable with respect to the base and/or said rotor assembly movable with respect to the hopper to allow the condition of operation of the apparatus to be selected between a condition for best dispensing feed material and a condition for best dispensing bedding material. The apparatus is typically mounted on a transport vehicle. The selective movement of the body and/or rotor assembly, and typically other control functions can be controlled by a person operating control means which communicate with the apparatus via a wireless communication system and the apparatus can include a power supply to allow the same to be powered to operate independently of the transport vehicle and said power supply may be charged by operation of the rotor assembly.

  • Patent number: 8926683
Abstract: Apparatus, systems, and methods are provided for deploying an implantable device, such as a stent, within a lumen of a body of a patient. The delivery device may include an inner member and an outer sheath surrounding a distal portion of the inner member and configured to retain the implantable device sheathed near the distal end of the outer sheath until deployment. The outer sheath is slidably moveable relative to the inner member such that proximal movement of the outer sheath relative to the inner member deploys the implantable device. A trigger assembly of the delivery device can include an internal connector coupled to the outer sheath, a plurality of triggers, and a floater coupling two of the triggers. The triggers are serially retracted to deploy the stent. A panchor secures the stent against proximal and distal movement relative to the inner member during deployment.

  • Publication number: 20120302917
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a urine meter (40) having a housing (14) which includes an inlet (16) and an outlet (20). The housing (14) further includes a first measurement chamber (24) and a second measurement chamber (26) arranged such that liquid entering the inlet (16) enters the first measurement chamber (24) before passing to the second measurement chamber (26). The housing (14) is further provided with a non-return valve (42) between the first and second measurement chambers (24,26) which, in use, prevents the flow of liquid from the second measurement chamber (26) to the first measurement chamber (24).
