  • Patent number: 8197578
Abstract: A liquid degasser for a space device including a gas permeable material configured for contact with a flow of liquid to be de-gassed on one side and a vacuum on the other side, and wherein the gas permeable material allows gas in the liquid to diffuse to the vacuum to remove the gas from the liquid.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 25, 2007
Date of Patent: June 12, 2012
    Assignee: Busek Company, Inc.

  • Patent number: 7524185
Abstract: A book molding system including a bottom mold portion, a top mold portion, a core retainer bar and a hinge mechanism. At least one of the bottom mold portion and the top mold portion has a molding recess formed therein. The hinge mechanism pivotally attaches the bottom mold portion, the top mold portion and the core retainer bar so that the core retainer bar is intermediate the bottom mold portion and the top mold portion.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 5931236
Abstract: A soil sample taker includes a sample-taking probe, a support frame, a removable sample-collecting receptacle having an open side and partitions hingedly disposed inside the receptacle and capable of pivoting to define essentially equally-sized compartments and to substantially close two of the compartments. An actuator having a motor, a tubular housing, a screw mechanism, an shaft, and a partition mover is used to pivot the partitions for the purpose of separating and collecting the soil samples. A control unit switch is used to energize the motor which actuates the screw mechanism which moves the shaft which moves the partition mover which moves the partitions. An air evacuator is mounted to the support frame and includes an elongate nozzle support, a nozzle housing, and a air nozzle for effectively and conveniently blowing out the bottom end of the probe where a small amount of soil sample may be engaged.
