An utterance from a user is received via a speech recognition portal. The utterance is representative of a request for a service. The request for the service associated with the utterance is recognized utilizing a speech recognition process. Subsequently, an event for executing the requested service is issued utilizing a tag associated with an extensible markup language. The requested service is executed utilizing the tag. The tag is also utilized to generate a bill for the execution of the requested service.
