The trim piece, with a curved front face, is attached to the underside of the photovoltaic module(s) using a standardized end-clamp (for a single module) or a standard mid-clamp (for a pair of modules). A threaded fastener with a T-shaped head can be used in a recessed channel located underneath an attachment flange of the trim piece.

Abstract: The settling time of a wireless receiver is reduced by providing a previously utilized gain control state value to a low noise amplifier (LNA) of a receiver front end during a warm-up portion of a wake-up period of the wireless receiver which follows a sleep period. One illustrative method includes the steps of receiving a notification signal which indicates that the wireless receiver is to be placed in a sleep mode, reading a gain control state value from a gain controller based on receiving the notification signal, storing the gain control state value in memory, providing the stored gain control state value from the memory to the wireless receiver during a warm-up period of a second wake-up period following the first wake-up period, and providing a gain control state value from the gain controller to the wireless receiver based on a signal level of a currently received signal of the wireless receiver after the warm-up period.

Abstract: This invention is directed to the use of non-sulfur containing compounds as collectors in the froth flotation of certain mineral sulfide and metallic compounds. These non-sulfur-containing compounds may be from natural sources, such as vegetable oils, or synthesized commercial sources. These non-sulfide collectors can be used singularly, in combinations, and in mixtures with known commercial sulfur containing collectors. These non-sulfur-containing collectors are compatible with common frothers.

Abstract: A rigid fracture brace having a rigid and non-bendable in use U-shaped member with an inner, soft-cushioned layer carried on an outer rigid layer defining an open inner cavity for laterally receiving and supporting a user's hand, adjacent to the metacarpal grouping of hand bones. The member is of high aspect ratio and is held in position by a three strap system which includes a lower thumb strap, a middle palm strap and an upper palm strap immediately below the fingers. One end of each strap is immovably fixed to the backside of the member and securement of each strap to the member includes a loop associated with each strap. Each strap further includes a two-component hook and pile fastener so as to avoid critical registration of holes and tongs. The pile component of the fastener is carried along the backside of each strap and each strap terminates with a free-end carrying the hook component of the fastener at the tip of the inside surface of each strap.

One end of each strap is fixed to the backside of the member and securement to the member includes a loop associated with each strap. Each strap further includes a two-component hook and pile fastener. The pile component of the fastener is carried along the backside of each strap and each strap terminates with a free-end carrying the hook component of the fastener at the tip of the inside surface of each strap. The free end of each strap is adapted to be trained through associated loops of the strapping assembly.
