  • Patent number: 8875343
Abstract: Disclosed is a detachable dust container for collecting dust in a bagless vacuum cleaner, and a vacuum cleaner equipped with such a container. The dust container comprises a receptacle with a cover for selective opening and closing of the receptacle, enabling emptying of the receptacle. A sealing element consisting of a lip seal is arranged between the cover and the dust receptacle for establishing a substantially air tight and dust tight sealing between the dust receptacle and the cover. This sealing put lower demands than prior art solutions on a tight fit between the cover and the receptacle and allows for variations in the manufacturing of the two parts.

  • Patent number: 8869343
Abstract: Disclosed is a detachable dust receptacle for collecting dust in a vacuum cleaner, and a vacuum cleaner equipped with such a receptacle. The dust receptacle comprising an inlet port connectable to a hose joint in the vacuum cleaner for receiving dust-laden air, a suction port, to which a source of vacuum is connectable, a first sealing element arranged for establishing an effective sealing of the inlet port against the hose joint, and a second sealing element arranged for establishing an effective sealing of the suction port against the source of vacuum, wherein at least one of the sealing elements is a lip seal. The dust receptacle can be detached/attached from/to the vacuum cleaner body, irrespective of the direction of the detachment/attachment relative the seal and irrespective of the number of sealing connections used to seal the receptacle to the vacuum cleaner body, without damaging of the sealing element and with maintained sealing effect.

  • Publication number: 20140083924
Abstract: The present invention relates to a filter unit (1) for use in a water filtering device (30). The filter unit comprises a housing (3) having an inlet (13a-d) for receiving water to be filtered and an outlet (25) for dispensing filtered water. A water filtering medium (5) is contained in between the inlet and outlet. The water filtering medium (5) comprises an ion exchange resin layer (5b) and an activated carbon loaded material layer (5c), which layers are provided as two distinct layers arranged in the housing. The invention further relates to a water filtering device, such as a water filter jug, comprising a filter unit.

  • Patent number: 6303278
Abstract: In using a photoinitiator and irradiation with UV-light suitable monomers can be selectively inoculated on the surface of a non conducting substrate in a distinct pattern. Metal ions are thereafter absorbed by these monomers and are reduced. To this pattern further conducting materials, e.g. metals, can thereafter be added in a conventional way. The method according to the invention comprises a fully additive method to produce a circuit board with high resolution and the production of functional components directly on a non conducting substrate.
