  • Patent number: 8122655
Abstract: The present invention concerns a frame (1) for receiving one or more elastic modules (2) forming cable entries, pipe penetrations or the like. The frame (1) has a form automatically compressing the one or more modules (2) at mounting to an appliance (7). The compression is made in that the modules (2) are received in a central opening of the frame (1) formed by inclining walls (3) and that the overall dimension of the modules (2) received in the central opening is somewhat larger than the inner dimension of the central opening. The modules (2) protrude from the frame (1) and are therefore further compressed when the frame is mounted to the appliance (7).

  • Patent number: 6521840
Abstract: A cable transit device, or cable penetration device, includes a tubular sleeve (1) that has means (11) at one end for fastening the device to a wall opening, and that has at its other end a thread (14) which interacts with a thread (53) on a nut (5). The nut includes a support shoulder (52) and the device includes a rubber sleeve which is located in the tubular sleeve (1) and has an outer diameter corresponding to the inner diameter of the tubular sleeve. The rubber sleeve is accommodated between the circular shoulder of the tubular sleeve and the support shoulder of the nut. The device also includes a plurality of module elements (4), each containing a cable accommodating channel (41) and each being divided to allow lateral access to the channel/channels. The modules (4) together fill-out the opening (31) of the rubber sleeve and have a shape that corresponds to the resultant outer contour of the mutually sealingly combined modules.

  • Patent number: 6262370
Abstract: A cable transit for protecting against the ingress of liquids and electromagnetic disturbances at a transit location in a wall, including a sleeve and a nut for fitting the transit tightly in the wall. The transit also includes a cable seal which comprises two semi-cylindrical bodies made of a compressible material and together fitting in the sleeve. The semi-cylindrical bodies have an adaptable center hole for accommodating a cable to be passed through the wall, and include several peelable layers. The semi-cylindrical bodies can be pressed together in tight abutment with the sleeve and with the cable, by means of the nut. The standard earthed cable sheet is earthed by means of a conductive screen. At least one peelable layer is removed along a part of the semi-cylindrical bodies, so that the semi-cylindrical bodies will present, at that part, a center hole whose diameter is greater than the diameter along the remaining part of the semi-cylindrical bodies.

  • Patent number: 5938152
Abstract: A cable transit includes an outer frame (10), at least one module-based cable seal, and a final seal which fills-out the frame together with the cable seal. The final seal includes two compressible wedges (11, 12) which can be moved towards an away from each other by a screw (17), and two further compressible wedges (15, 16) which can also be moved towards and away from each other and which coact with the two first wedges. The four wedges are held together by a movable strap (19) which holds the wedges so that they can move relative to one another, wherein the wedges and the screw (17) together form a contained component which can be easily fitted into the frame. The outer side of the flexible strap (19) is provided with guide shoulders (191 to 194) approximately opposite the further wedges (15, 16) for guiding the component to a correct position in the frame. The strap and the wedges are molded in one piece, and one end (51) of the strap is glued to the other end (52) thereof.
