  • Publication number: 20240345240
Abstract: Systems and methods for tracking targets by a network of radar sensors each monitoring targets in a portion of an extended range. Each radar sensor characterizes and identify the detected targets and communicates metadata with neighboring sensors such that the identified targets may be uniquely identified and continuously tracked as they move between different portions of the extended monitored region. In a retail environment, customer behavior may be monitored with a customer journey generated indicating a path taken by each identified customer.

  • Publication number: 20240282457
Abstract: Radar based systems and methods for gesture recognition to identify hand gestures remotely. A radar unit including a linear array of transmitter antennas and a linear array of receiver antennas monitors objects within a target zone. An image data file is generated by assigning each transmitter-receiver pair of antennas a spatial coordinate, an associated phase value and an associated amplitude value. The image data file is analyzed by a pattern recognition unit to detect assign a gesture state.

  • Patent number: 11978562
Abstract: Systems and methods for a radar-based viral transmission prevention for a protected space are disclosed. The system comprises a gateway screening system 104 configured for remotely screening subjects crossing a boundary of a protected space, an elevator monitoring system 106 configured for monitoring passengers using an elevator system and a social distance monitoring system 108 configured for monitoring social distancing compliance within the protected space. The system also includes a telemedical monitoring system 110 configured and operable for remotely measuring one or more parameters of a patient using a radar-based system. The system further includes a gesture recognition system 112 configured and operable to identify hand gestures remotely.

  • Patent number: 11660023
Abstract: Fall detection systems and methods use radar chips to scan monitored regions such that data obtained by the scanning radar chip are processed to identify targets within the monitored region. Targets are tracked and profiled indicating their posture and fall detection rules are applied. Standard energy profiles and time dependent energy profiles are generated for various segments of the monitored region and compared to the current energy profile for each target segment of the monitored region. Anomalies are detected, false fall alerts filtered out and verified fall alerts are generated.
