    Abstract: A voice coil bobbin coupled to a damper is allowed to vibrate in its axis direction within a magnetic circuit including a magnet and a plate supported by a yoke. A range extending between a neutral position of an end of the voice coil bobbin and a portion of the yoke opposing the end of the voice coil bobbin is longer than a range extending between the plate and a neutral position of a portion where the voice coil bobbin is coupled to the damper. A damper ring is fitted around the voice coil bobbin in a position closer to the plate within the portion where the voice coil bobbin is coupled to the damper. A rear face of the damper ring opposing the plate is shaped in face-geometry parallel to a face of the plate opposing the damper ring.

    Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide an improved speaker grille and an improved speaker device capable of preventing a deterioration of the quality of a sound propagated in an inclined direction, using only a simple structure. The speaker device has a diaphragm and a grille provided in front of the diaphragm. The grille is formed in a position in front of the diaphragm, and has an open area in which an entire diameter of the diaphragm is opened in the right ahead direction of the diaphragm, also has shield areas formed on both sides of the open area for shielding part of the diaphragm viewed in an inclined direction, thereby making it possible to prevent a sound quality deterioration in the inclined direction using a simple structure. Moreover, since the grille is formed with the open area in the right ahead direction, there is no sound quality deterioration in the right ahead direction.

    Abstract: An outer end portion 21A of an edge 21, which is formed at an interior of an outer periphery thereof, is mounted on an attaching surface 10b which is formed inside an outer peripheral rim 10a of a speaker frame 10. An outer peripheral surface 21a of the outer end portion 21A is allowed to abut on the outer peripheral rim 10a of the speaker frame 10. Also, an attaching screw section 14 of the speaker frame is provided on the attaching surface 10b. The outer end portion 21A has a wall thickness thicker than the thickness of a screw head of the attaching screw section, and is provided with a notch 21b to avoid the attaching screw section 14. Therefore, the inside area of the speaker frame can be effectively utilized to obtain enough level of outputted sound pressure. Further, since a gasket is unnecessary for positioning and attaching the edge, the number of parts can be reduced to lead cost-down.

    Abstract: A speaker with a tweeter angle adjusting device, including a woofer; a horizontal shaft supported on the woofer horizontally and rotatably; a horizontal adjusting knob disposed in parallel with and in the same rotating direction as the horizontal shaft, the horizontal adjusting knob being connected to the horizontal shaft through an interlocking mechanism; a tweeter; a tweeter housing which is secured to the horizontal shaft and which supports the tweeter through a vertical shaft rotatably in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal shaft; and a vertical adjusting knob connected to the tweeter through an interlocking mechanism to rotate in the same direction as the tweeter and journalled in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal shaft. The tweeter direction changing operation can be done easily and accurately because the tweeter shifts in the same directions as the turning directions of the horizontal and vertical adjusting knobs.
