    Abstract: A steering control device includes a processor that controls a steering unit that uses a reaction force motor as a drive source. The processor is configured to execute an integrated rotation angle acquisition process of acquiring an integrated rotation angle that is an integrated value of the rotation angle of a steering shaft, based on a detection result of an angle sensor. The processor is configured to execute an abnormality determination process of determining whether an abnormality condition for detecting an abnormality of a stopper mechanism is satisfied, based on the integrated rotation angle. The abnormality determination process includes a process of determining that the abnormality condition is satisfied, when the processor is capable of determining that the integrated rotation angle is out of a regulatory rotation amount.

    Abstract: A travel control device for a vehicle has a steered angle varying device 14 or a by-wire type steering device 96 which modifies a relationship of steered angle of steerable wheels to steering operation amount by a driver. When the control device decides that vehicle trajectory control is to be initiated or renewed, it calculates a target steered angle of the steerable wheels for driving the vehicle along a target trajectory which is required for the vehicle to arrive at a target arrival position in a target traveling direction on the basis of steering operation amount by a driver and vehicle speed at a time point of the decision. The control device controls the steered angle of the steerable wheels according to the target steered angle in feed-forward or feed-back manner.

The controller for the steering apparatus 1 detects the tilting angle based on a rotational angle of the screw shaft. The controller defines the predetermined supplying current according to the detected amount of the tilting angle as the supplying current to the electrical motor.
