  • Patent number: 6392200
Abstract: A wet tissue warmer has a case having an open end, a lid removably put on the case so as to cover the open end of the case and internally provided with a heater, and a lifting plate placed in the case and biased upward. When the lid is closed, a wet tissue package mounted on the lifting plate is kept in contact with the lid to heat the wet tissue package. Lifting plate locking devices are disposed in the case. The lifting plate is locked at the present position by the lifting plate locking devices when the lid is opened.

  • Patent number: 5330253
Abstract: A mechanism for modulating the height of a chair for a small child which is designed such that it can be easily manipulated to adjust the height, and substantially all of the moving parts of the mechanism are enclosed. The chair, having the leg height modulation mechanism, includes a pair of leg assemblies of adjustable height, and a body coupled thereto in a pivotable manner. The front and rear legs of each of the leg assemblies are crossed and pivotally coupled to each other at their midportions. The front leg of each assembly is pivotally coupled at its upper end to a forward end of a support member by a pin. The rear leg is pivotally coupled at its upper end to a rear end of a slider. The slider is fitted in a holder so that the slider can be caused to slide while being guided by a sliding guide opening of the holder. The holder has a nearly U-shaped cross section, and is secured in the support member.

  • Patent number: 5104180
Abstract: A folding and locking mechanism for a folding baby chair, the mechanism locks the chair in an assembled and folded condition and is unlocked from either condition by the same simple manual operation. A bracket pivotally connected between a rear leg and a support arm locks in two respective positions on a retainer pin which rides on the bracket periphery and is received by a pair of retainer recesses, one for the assembled condition and one for the folded condition. The retainer pin is held by a locking lever that pivots and moves up and down in a holder frame within the support arm. Movement of the lever upward by a simple manual action urges the retainer pin away from the bracket, allowing the bracket to rotate to thereby fold or assemble the chair. A descending operating plate holds the upwardly urged locking lever in the up position until the bracket begins to rotate.
