  • Publication number: 20210154878
Abstract: A die cutter including: a moving platen and a fixed platen; a moving mechanism structured to cause the moving platen to vertically move toward the fixed platen; and a controller structured to control the moving mechanism, wherein the die cutter punches a sheet material with a punching die attached to the fixed platen by bringing the moving platen closer to the fixed platen using the moving mechanism, and the moving mechanism includes: four lift transmission mechanisms structured to pressurize the moving platen upwardly with four pressurizers having different positions in a horizontal direction from one another; and four press motors structured to drive the lift transmission mechanisms, respectively.

  • Patent number: 5310171
Abstract: The collating device sucks up the topmost sheet of the paper stack on the paper table by the suction head and feeds forward the sheet one after another. The paper table is being given an upward force by a spring. This paper table moves up to the position where the topmost sheet of the paper stack on the paper table contacts with a stopper. This stopper moves up during the period when the suction head feeds forward the topmost sheet. At this time, an electromagnetic brake is set at the on-state and fixes the position of the paper table. The suction head, stopper, electromagnetic brake and the like rotate at the predetermined timing based on the rotation of cams. Thus, according to this invention it is possible not only to save the cost of the device but also to operate the device at high speed.

  • Patent number: 4776580
Abstract: Disclosed is a mechanism for driving the paper delivery rollers in an elevator of an elevator-type sorter. The elevator is adapted to move through a passage that extends between the conveyor belt and the inner ends of a plurality of shelves. Paper sheets are delivered to the shelves through a deflecting path defined by the internal framework of the elevator. The paper sheets are fed onto the shelf by paper delivery rollers which are driven by a series of gears and a toothed belt mounted on the elevator. The gears are, in turn, driven by a rubber "tumbling roller" which is mounted in a pivotable bracket. This bracket is biased by a spring to bring the tumbling roller into contact with the conveyor belt so that its movement imparts a rotational motion to the tumbling roller.

  • Patent number: 4772010
Abstract: A paper sheet guide mechanism is provided for use in a sorter of the elevator type. Paper sheets are conveyed from an input through the paper sorter along a conveyor belt and are successively deflected by an elevator for distribution on corresponding paper shelves. A guide mechanism includes a plurality of moveable wires which on one end are attached to the elevator and extend parallel to each other along a common plane toward the top of the sorter. These moveable wires pass over a plurality of pulleys and are thereby directed down a common side of the housing, around other pulleys, and are attached to a bracket that is connected to the bottom of the elevator in an endless loop. A tension spring is interposed in each of these wire loops. The plane formed by the parallel moveable wires is adjacent to and slightly closer to the inner ends of the paper shelves than is the plane along which paper is transported through the sorter by the conveyor belt.

  • Patent number: 4749091
Abstract: A shelf plate is adapted for use with an office machine having an insertion slot for receiving the plate. The plate is formed of a synthetic resin in a generally planar surface and includes integrally formed, laterally offset leaf spring portions that extend from each side of the plate in a direction opposite to that in which the plate is normally inserted into the office machine. Each of the leaf spring portions includes on its top surface a groove defined by a first and a second stepped portion that is adapted to engage locking edges on the insertion slot in the framework of the office machine. The inherent elasticity of the leaf spring portions biases the groove into engagement with the locking edge. A force may be exerted on the extending free ends of the leaf spring portions to disengage the groove from the locking edge for removal of the shelf plate from the office machine.
