  • Patent number: 5132819
Abstract: In a liquid-crystal display device of active matrix type, a plurality of column-selecting lines and a plurality of auxiliary capacitance lines are formed on a transparent substrate. A plurality of row-selecting lines and two display-electrode segments are formed on an insulative film formed on the column-selecting and auxiliary capacitance lines and the transparent substrate. Two switching elements each connected to the column-selecting, row-selecting and auxiliary capacitance lines are also formed on the transparent substrate. Two auxiliary capacitors are formed between the display-electrode segments and the auxiliary capacitance line. A strip conductor is formed on the transparent substrate under each pair of display-electrode segments. A common electrode opposes the display-electrode segments with a liquid crystal layer therebetween.

  • Patent number: 4571688
Abstract: A wire bonding apparatus in which a supersonic oscillator is provided for applying a supersonic vibration to a capillary through the medium of a tool arm at the time of bonding, and the supersonic oscillator is controlled for the adjustment of the oscillation time and/or amplitude of supersonic oscillation to regularize the ball shape, while monitoring the deformation of a ball at the end of a wire by means of a gap sensor which detects the relative positions of the tool arm and a tool lifter arm.

  • Patent number: 4516673
Abstract: An apparatus for conveying a lead frame mounting semiconductor pellets comprises a guide path for guiding the lead frame, and a feed member. The feed member is moved by a solenoid mechanism from a first position where the feed member is separated from the lead frame to a second position where the feed member engages with the lead frame. The feed member positioned in the second position is moved by a X-Y table from an initial position to a forward position along the guide path, whereby the lead frame is conveyed along the guide path by a predetermined distance.

  • Patent number: 4203064
Abstract: A method for automatically controlling the position of small objects, comprises the steps of moving the object to cause at least a portion of an optical image of the object to be imaged on a photoelectric array which is placed on an image formation plane; sequentially detecting outputs by scanning photoelectric converting elements constituting the photoelectric array; counting, in a digital fashion, the position data of the object based on the above-mentioned outputs to deliver a correction signal for moving the object to a predetermined position; moving the object to a predetermined position according to the correction signal; and checking the position of the object by detecting outputs of respective photoelectric converting elements after completion of the above-mentioned movement step and calculating the positional data of the object.
