  • Patent number: 8580008
Abstract: The invention hereby disclosed is a vertical filtering and separating suction machine of chips, steam and smoke for machining center, lathe machine or other machines, which operates by sudden changes of sucked air, thus generating hits which separate heavy particles, whose suction pipe extends almost up to the bottom of the rotor, which only uses filters at the end of the process of air purification, whose rotor has outer paddles modified in order to improve suction power and to cause more hits of air flow, and which includes an air pressure alarm showing the filter is saturated.

  • Patent number: 5927815
Abstract: An articulated holding arm 2 comprises a first arm 3 and a second arm 5. The first arm 3 is essentially cylindrical as a whole, and is provided with at an intermediate area but closer to a proximal end 6 of the arm 3 a first spherical element 7 in a freely rotatable manner. The first arm 3 is further provided with at a distal end 4 thereof to which the proximal end 6 of the arm 3 is mounted a second spherical element 8 in a freely rotatable manner. Provided between the first and second spherical elements 7,8 is a locking spindle 9 which is moveable in a longitudinal direction of the arm 3 with a very short interval d. Provided at a proximal end 6 of the first arm 3 is a piston 11 which constantly pressurizes via spring means 12 the first spherical element 7 in a direction of a tip of the piston 11 and can move the first spherical element 7 via hydraulic means 14 or pneumatic means toward the proximal end 6 of the first arm 3 against the spring means 12.

  • Patent number: 5359097
Abstract: A process is provided for preparation of a glycidyl ether represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein A represents an aryl group optionally having a substituent or a heteroaryl group optionally having a substituent, and the carbon atom marked with * is an asymmetric carbon, which comprises reacting an aryl alcohol represented by the general formulaA--OH (I)wherein A is as defined above, with an epihalohydrin in the presence of a quaternary ammonium salt; and, if necessary, further treating the reaction product with a base. According to the present process, it is possible to prepare by simple procedures and in a high optical purity glycidyl ethers of the above formula (II) useful as an intermediate for preparation of medicines, particularly medicines having .beta.-adrenoreceptor blocking action or the like.

  • Patent number: 4496246
Abstract: A precision, reliable, analog timepiece uses plastic frame elements reinforced with metal, and plastic wheel and pinions pivoting in holes formed in the plastic of the frame elements. The plastic frame elements are separated into portions corresponding to the functional timepiece portions. Exposed areas of the reinforcing metal provide reference locations in molding the frame elements and for component mounting. The entire timepiece is assembled from one side of a base frame element.

  • Patent number: 4397565
Abstract: An electronic timepiece with an animated display is provided. The animated display includes flickering display elements for providing the animation. The timepiece includes a timekeeping circuit for generating actual time signals in at least hours and minutes and a corresponding time display region for displaying time in response to the time signals generated by the timekeeping circuit. The flickering animated display elements are driven independently of the timekeeping display.A digital display timepiece may include the animated display elements within a picture pattern. In this case, the flickering display elements form a part of the pattern. In a liquid crystal display timepiece, the flickering display elements may comprise portions of segments of display terminals and may be driven in response to seconds signals generated by a seconds counter of the timekeeping circuit.

  • Patent number: 4266290
Abstract: A manually operated control mechanism for permitting a high frequency detection signal to be selectively produced is provided. A selection circuit is coupled to a divider circuit for receiving therefrom a low frequency timekeeping signal and a higher frequency detection signal. The selection circuit is normally disposed in a first mode and transmits the low frequency timekeeping signal applied thereto and is adapted to be disposed into a second mode to thereby transmit the higher frequency detection signal applied thereto. A manually operative member is adapted to be coordinately displaced between a first non-engaging position and a second position wherein the manually operative member engages said selection circuit to thereby dispose same in a second mode in order to effect the transmission thereby of the higher frequency detection signal.
