  • Patent number: 7973810
Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a display device that allows its useful life to be prolonged without letting the user of the device conscious of changes in the display state of the display device, and the power consumption to be prevented from increasing, and the usable time without charging to be prevented from being shortened even when a light emitting display device is used. The display device is driven by a power source chargeable by connection with an external power source and includes a display portion (4), a display control portion (31) that switches between an inverted display state and a non-inverted display state of said display portion (4), and a power source detection portion (5) that detects a connection with said external power source. The display control portion switches between the inverted display state and non-inverted display state of said display portion (4) when said power source detection portion (5) detects a connection with said external power source.

  • Publication number: 20070202713
Abstract: To solve the problems that, when a flexible printed board used for modular parts or the like and another printed board are reconnected to each other, the flexible printed board is damaged upon stripping a connection part, removing an adhesive is difficult, and re-adhesion of the adhesive is difficult to obstruct easy reconnection. A thermoplastic adhesive 8 is attached beforehand to a connection portion of a flexible printed board 9 for connection that connects a flexible printed board 6 to which an electronic part 4b or a liquid crystal 7 is connected and a printed board 1 on which an electronic component 4a is packed. With this structure, a reconnection work of the printed board 1 and the flexible printed board 6 is easily performed by replacing the flexible printed board 9 for connection.

  • Patent number: 7023464
Abstract: A video telephone is provided which makes it possible to speak while seeing a motion picture of a partner side and while protecting the portrait right of a calling party using the video telephone as the need arises. At the time of communication, an image pickup unit (2) pickups a photogenic subject (1) such as a calling party and peripheral environment etc. A pickup signal processing unit (3) processes a pickup signal corresponding to an image of the photogenic subject (1) pickup by the image pickup unit (2) to thereby generate a pickup image signal. A portrait right correspondence image processing unit (4) subjects the pickup image signal to an image modification processing such as a defocusing processing so as to protect the portrait right of the calling party.
