Abstract: A method for use by a base station of a communication network is provided, the base station belonging to a first group of base stations and the communication network comprising the first group of base stations and second and third groups of base stations. The base station provides access to the communication network for user equipments by communicating with the user equipments via an air interface. The method comprising allocating (S11) overhearing uplink resources to be used for receiving data from base stations of the second and third groups, in a frame used for communicating with the user equipments, and allocating (S12) overhearing downlink resources for the second and third groups, to be used for transmitting data to base stations of the second and third groups, in the frame used for communicating with the user equipments.
