  • Patent number: 9975273
Abstract: A tile or masonry saw assembly may include a saw and a frame. The saw includes a motor operable to turn a blade of a blade assembly to cut a workpiece. The blade assembly is internally wetted during operation by nozzles disposed on opposing sides of the blade to provide water onto the blade within a blade guard configured to shield a portion of the blade. The frame is operably coupled to the saw to support the workpiece. The frame supports a water collecting system for collecting the water. The water collecting system includes a water tank that is removable from the frame.

  • Patent number: 9862120
Abstract: A preferred embodiment of a hand-operated flush cutting machine includes a front section with a first and a second disc shaped cutter blade which are rotary about an axis of rotation and mounted in the front end of an elongated tool carrier having the substantial shape of a flat bar. The tool carrier is mounted to a rear section of the machine. The rear section is provided with a number of components, including a motor for driving the cutter blades via a power transmission as well as handles and a control for operating the machine. The first, right hand side cutter blade has a first side, which does not face the second cutter blade. The first side defines a first plane which does not intersect any component in the front or rear sections.

  • Publication number: 20100299944
Abstract: A preferred embodiment of a hand-operated flush cutting machine (1) comprises a front section (3) with a first and a second disc shaped cutter blade (7, 8) which are rotary about an axis of rotation (26) and mounted in the front end of an elongated tool carrier (11) having the substantial shape of a flat bar. The tool carrier is mounted to a rear section (2) of the machine. The rear section (2) is provided with a number of components, including a motor (17) for driving the cutter blades via a power transmission as well as handles (13, 16) and a control (25) for operating the machine. The first, right hand side cutter blade (7) has a first side, which does not face the second cutter blade. Said first side defines a first plane (21) which does not intersect any component in said front or rear sections.
