  • Patent number: 5804946
Abstract: A fuel tank for a self contained generator set of the type adapted to be mounted on a transport container, which has a refrigeration unit mounted on one end thereof. The generator set is adapted to provide electrical power for the refrigeration unit. The outer perimeter of the end of the transport container and the refrigeration unit mounted thereon cooperate to define a predetermined envelope in which the generator set must be mounted. The predetermined envelope is defined by the top of the container, the lateral sides of the container and at the lower end by the location of the condenser fan discharge and operating controls of the refrigeration unit. The fuel tank of the generator set is substantially U-shaped having a lower section substantially co-extensive with the lower end of the predetermined envelope and first and second vertically extending sections which extend to the top of the envelope and which are substantially co-extensive with the two lateral sides of the envelope.

  • Patent number: 5634605
Abstract: A clamp (10) for mounting a packaged engine-driven electrical generator, or generator set (70), to a transport trailer (80). The clamp has two major components, a frame member (12) and a clamp member (13), both generally L-shaped. The base (21) of the frame member is securely attached to a frame member (72, 73) of the generator set. The base (31) of the clamp member extends through a fulcrum slot (25) in the frame member. When in the engaged position, a nut (14) and bolt (15) connect the frame member riser and clamp member riser. The clamp engages the flange of an I beam 81, part of the chassis of the trailer, between the base portion of the frame member and the toe (34) of the clamp member. Tightening the nut and bolt causes the clamp to clamp securely to the I beam.

  • Patent number: 4699305
Abstract: A drive belt for a linear motion drive system in which a plurality of drive belts are helically disposed and rotated about a driven element to axially advance the element along its axis. The belts include a pair of resilient legs which operate to equally space the belts about the periphery of the driven element. The resilient legs also are adapted to accommodate changes in diameter of the driven element.
