  • Publication number: 20240079090
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for updating a molecular database. In one aspect, a method includes: receiving data representing a sequence of molecular nucleotides, where the data specifies a base of each molecular nucleotide and synthetic modifications to one or more components of one or more molecular nucleotides in the sequence; generating a user interface presentation that presents: i) for each base in the sequence, a base character that represents the base of the molecular nucleotide, and ii) for each of the one or more molecular nucleotides having one or more components that are synthetically modified, a group of symbols adjacent to the base character that represents the base of the molecular nucleotide, where each symbol in the group of symbols represents a respective synthetic modification; and providing the user interface presentation to a user device for display to a user.

  • Patent number: 11916200
Abstract: The disclosure herein relates to rechargeable batteries and solid electrolytes therefore which include lithium-stuffed garnet oxides, for example, in a thin film, pellet, or monolith format wherein the density of defects at a surface or surfaces of the solid electrolyte is less than the density of defects in the bulk. In certain disclosed embodiments, the solid-state anolyte, electrolyte, and catholyte thin films, separators, and monoliths consist essentially of an oxide that conducts Li+ ions. In some examples, the disclosure herein presents new and useful solid electrolytes for solid-state or partially solid-state batteries. In some examples, the disclosure presents new lithium-stuffed garnet solid electrolytes and rechargeable batteries which include these electrolytes as separators between a cathode and a lithium metal anode.

  • Publication number: 20070014633
Abstract: The invention disclosed relates to a method and apparatus for recovering non-aqueous phase liquids (NAPL) from regions below ground where NAPL spills are sources of aquifer contamination. The apparatus includes a system to supply gas-supersaturated liquid, a system of ground wells in fluid communication with the contaminated ground water region (source of contamination) and with an above-ground NAPL recovery system, said system of wells including an injection well in fluid communication with the system to supply gas-supersaturated liquid and with the contaminated region below ground, an extraction well in fluid communication with the contaminated region below ground and with the NAPL recovery system, wherein the NAPL is in the gaseous phase or gas-mobilized non-volatile liquid phase or both, and a pump for delivering the gas-supersaturated liquid to the vicinity of the contaminated region below ground.
