  • Patent number: 11333561
Abstract: A temperature sensor device and a system for measuring temperature of a fast moving surface are described herein. A sensor body comprising a temperature sensor for measuring temperature of the moving surface. The sensor body has an engagement surface for contacting the moving surface. A biasing mechanism is coupled to the sensor body for providing pressure to maintain the engagement surface in contact with moving surface and for allowing the engagement surface to pivot with the moving surface when the moving surface deflects. An electronics module is connected to the temperature sensor for determining temperature data indicative of the temperature of the moving surface and for transmitting the temperature data to an external device. The temperature sensor device and/or the system may be used for measuring temperature of a saw blade.

  • Publication number: 20180244107
Abstract: A replaceable non-pneumatic vehicle tire which comprises a resilient tire band attached to the outer face of the wheel rim. Conformity to the ground surface is accomplished with use of compression elastomer springs bonded to the tire band. Tire band is secured by fitting circumferential beads of the band into undercut grooves located on the outer face of the wheel rim. It can be also secured using simple V-grooves provided to the wheel rim. The tire is compact and easy to manufacture. It can be engineered to have improved rolling resistance and grip to the ground surface.

  • Patent number: 8418284
Abstract: A base for bed mattress having a plurality of transverse slats, with each slat end attached to the frame of the base and pivotally connected to first end of a rod at the center of each slat is provided. The rod is attached at its second end to a dynamic pulley. The dynamic pulleys are connected by a common cord or flexible attachment running over stationary pulleys mounted between the slats to a central beam attached to the frame of the base. Improved distribution of human body support can thus be achieved independent of the contour and weight of the body at any sleeping position. Springiness of the base can be modified by changing the elasticity of the flexible attachment. The dynamic support base reduces the need for thickness of the mattress and of the bed pillow.

  • Patent number: 4794961
Abstract: A knife, especially a veneer knife, having a wedge shaped body equipped with a leaf spring and a backing plate which retain a removable, disposable blade. The blade is inserted on the rake face of the tool under the leaf spring and wedged between the retaining plate and the rake face. Cutting forces provide main clamping of the blade.

  • Patent number: 4646606
Abstract: A saw tool, especially circular saw, having each saw tooth provided with a tapered male projection to accept a removable, disposable socket tooth; socket tooth comprising a cutting bit and a U-shaped casing permanently joined to each other by brazing or welding. After placing the socket tooth onto the projection by hand the tooth is firmly locked when the cutting forces start to act. The socket tooth is removable by tapping in the direction opposite to placing.

  • Patent number: 4237757
Abstract: A system for introducing "tensioning" stress distribution into the wide bandsaw blade without its plastic deformation, for automatically compensating for blade temperature expansions and blade manufacturing inaccuracies, and for controlling blade position on the bandsaw wheels, comprising: torsional loading of the back, noncutting section of the bandsaw blade by using two actuators acting as a couple; continuously sensing for a displacement of the bandsaw blade during sawing from a set position on the wheels and countering the adverse effect of such displacement by generating a corrective displacement in the opposite sense relative to the said set position through the change of the ratio of forces forming the said couple.
