The hands-free apparatus is configured to: perform control of connecting to the mobile phone by a transfer protocol for transferring the history data and the phonebook data; receive the history data and the phonebook data from the mobile phone by the transfer protocol when the mobile phone is present in a wireless connection area; and display an error and display a reconnection screen for receiving an instruction for reconnection by the transfer protocol with the mobile phone from a user, on a display, when connection by the transfer protocol with the mobile phone is disconnected during reception of at least one of the history data and the phonebook data.
