  • Publication number: 20240167219
Abstract: The field of the DISCLOSURE lies in adaptive materials for implementation in textiles, wearables and smart clothing. The present disclosure relates to functional fabrics or devices, comprising fabrics or fiber-based materials with selective reversible permeability or which reversibly change permeability upon stimulation with at least one external stimulus selected from humidity, temperature, electrical, magnetic, pH, and chemicals. The present disclosure also relates to the use of said functional fabrics or devices, in particular as humidity sensors, temperature sensors, for humidity and/or heat management of clothing or of textiles for home, as well as for outside purposes. The present disclosure also relates to wearable electronics, smart thermo-regulating clothing or textiles and Nsport bandages. The present disclosure also relates to devices comprising a sheet-like substrate and temperature responsive materials N applied thereon, respective printed actuators and their uses as shape changing interfaces.

  • Patent number: 5019759
Abstract: An attitude control system controls a seat sliding, a seat reclining, a seat vertical, a head rest, a seat belt anchor, a steering tilting, a steering telescoping and a mirror position or attitude. The system includes a master controller and a slave controller, and a key switch which provides an attitude control command is only connected to the master controller. In response to the attitude control command from the key switch, the master controller delivers an attitude control command which is then transmitted to the slave controller. In order to avoid an interference which may occur between different mechanisms, a sequence in which the attitude control takes place is automatically switched depending on the direction in which the attitude of other mechanisms is controlled or depending on the prevailing controlled status of other mechanisms.

  • Patent number: 4728873
Abstract: A seat assembly for automatically adjusting a seat position of a seat mounted, for example, in a vehicle, includes an actuator, an electric source, a controller, a non-operation maintainer, a stop lamp switch and a cancellation switch. The actuator adjusts the seat, and the electric source supplies electricity to the actuator. The controller controls the actuator and outputs a controlling signal to the actuator. The non-operation maintainer maintains a non-operation condition of the actuator and the non-operation maintainer is electrically connected between the actuator and the electric source. The non-operation maintainer selectively supplies the electricity to the actuator. The stop lamp switch outputs a stop signal to the non-operation maintainer, and the non-operation maintainer starts maintaining the non-operation condition of the controller in accordance with the receipt of the stop signal.
